In this day and age each individual has been given the ability to assist Mother Nature in the complete control over the different growing seasons. Metal Halide, High Pressure Sodium and Fluorescent T5 bulbs are all designed specifically to intensify and promote vigorous plant growth. Grow lights enable a gardener to utilize the optimal spectral energy that is needed in order to produce a more robust yield in a minimal amount of time.

High Pressure Sodium Grow Light Bulbs can be used for both the growing and blooming cycles, yet many individuals choose to run HPS bulbs only during the bloom cycle. On the other hand Metal Halide bulbs are solely to be used during the vegetative cycle of growth. The reasoning for this is that MH grow lights are precisely designed to provide a high initial and maintained blue springlike spectrum, and are not fully capable of providing the type of red spectrum that is necessary for a more plentiful budding cycle.

The T5 Fluorescent Bulbs are extremely energy efficient, yet are not nearly as powerful as the HPS and MH bulbs. T5 Grow Lights are ideal for seedlings, cuttings, flowers and houseplants. Like the HPS and MH bulbs, fluorescent grow lights are available in both red and blue spectrums.
